A while back we started following Dehan Engelbrect on facebook, after seeing his work on the Pretty Blog, and fell in love with his style and approach on his career as he explained in his personal posts. When we saw the post about his workshop in Bloemfontein we didn’t even think twice. Immediately got in contact with him and within minutes we were signed up to attend the workshop on 29 April 2015.
We were extremely excited to meet him and other photographers. Learn from his experiences and theirs. Being able to refresh our minds and outlook on our business and workflow was exactly what we were looking for and we knew that Dehan would be the best person!
The workshop was held at Warm Karoo, Bloemfontein. Everyone was very welcoming, the company was great and we ended the day off with some lovely wine and pizza!!
Dehan made such an effort with the approach on the workshop and styled shoot. Grand Room Design gave us one amazing french inspired table and decor to work with. We enjoyed capturing every little detail and the most beautiful flower arrangements. What we loved most about this workshop was that Dehan said everything you share with others and the more you give to others the more will come back to you. Love what you do, care for your clients, interact and be part of their story rather than just taking pictures like a fly on the wall.
Thank you to everyone we met at the workshop you are amazing. Truly blessed to have met you all. Special thanx to Dehan who shared so much and been such a wonderful person and inspiration to us. We can’t wait to meet again! Now for the exciting part. We would love to share some of our pictures we took at the workshop.
